CTRTheme is BlackHAT! STOP Adsense BAN!

There are many adsense publishers who are using CTRTheme as their main theme for adsense. So how safe is CTRTheme is?

Site layout that pushes content below the fold
Here's an example of site layout that pushes content below the fold, making it hard for users to distinguish content and Google ads.

Again, please note that modification of the AdSense code is a violation of the AdSense program policies.
For example, publishers may not:
  • Alter the height or width of an ad unit from the standard options
  • Implement the AdSense ad code in a "floating box script" or in a way that otherwise covers content
  • Use any means to force the display of more than three AdSense ad units on a page
  • Manipulate the ad targeting using hidden keywords, IFRAMEs, or any other method
  • Distribute ads in emails or software

If your website has been manually reviewed you might get banned due to the above polices; as your website look like a MFA (made for adsense site). CTRTheme looks crappy and ugly can be easily identify by Google as a spam website.

I had about 25%-30% CTR with CTR theme a while ago. Not banned. Everthing was paid in full (few grands). Probably you should blame your traffic quality, not CTR or CTR theme. If everything is legit, then even 30% CTR is not a problem.

CTR Theme is fine, but you have to make sure that you actually have good content on your sites. This theme will not pass when it is an added obstacle in a manual review from Google. Trust me when I say a majority of people's mix of shitty content + CTR theme results in a ban. It is not the doing of the "theme" itself. If you have a site with a good amount of quality content you can get away with these themes, but you have to be providing something good to the end user.

What I advice you to do is:

  1. Put ONLY 1 adblock right under the title and wrap around the article text. Then have a few paragrapuhs under that. Then put the second ad block and wrap the article around that. 2-3 Images or Videos within the article somewhere.
  2. Write out a privacy policy, contact us, and about US information and put the link on your site link (example sidebar, footer) I recommend you to put these things on the footer as these information will not help to increase your adsense ads at all.
  3. Keep your CTR rate under 30% no matter what.
  4. Write content that is more than 1000 words, you can get higher ranking on Google as more words is equal to higher quality for Google wise.
  5. Update your content frequently, at least once in a month is the bare minimum
  6. Do not promote your website anywhere, only do SEO and rank on Google. If you promote your website anything else, you will get very high CTR, and invalid clicks and resulting your adsense account being closed.
  7. Create a Logo and put on your website header
  8. Create Support pages, Contact us to make your website looks more legal and not a spam site.
