SECRETS behind ALL CTRTheme's Subthemes!

These are the 7 subthemes of CTRTheme, you may be puzzled which subtheme to use and which one will get higher CTR. It is very confusing to choose among the 7 subthemes of CTRTheme. Let's us reveal the SECRETS of all the 7 subthemes after LOTS of split testing. 

1. AVG CTR (4-7%), Inconsistent CTR

This is the new sub theme that CTRTheme released, from our split testing, this theme has proven unreliable to achieve highest CTR possible. The highest CTR we achieved is approximate 7%. Although this theme might looks cool and new, it looks more professional too compared to other themes, but the CTR of this theme is one of the lowest among the 7 subthemes.

2. AVG CTR (10%-13%) GOOD!

This sub theme has a very consistent CTR rate (10%~13%) it has proven by us that this theme works and get a very good CTR but it looks very ugly and unappealing. If you are using this theme, please use the 2 pushdown images to get high CTR, as we have tried to take out the pushdown images, our CTR dropped to 6%-8%. Although you will get penalized by Google Panda for too many images or ads above the fold, but you will get high consistent CTR if you put the 2 pushdown images.

3. AVG CTR (10.5%~12%) GOOD!

This subtheme is a big problem it looks very ugly and the CTR rate is very inconsistent, some days you might get 10.5%~12% CTR, but some days you might get 5%-7% CTR. It is not a stable subtheme to use for your adsense niche sites. 

4. AVG CTR (15%-24.6%) BETTER!

This is one of my favourite sub theme to choose for this theme looks the best out of the 7 themes, and it CONSISTENTLY achieve 10%+ sometimes your CTR may even reaches 15%-20%. One of my friend using this sub theme is earning approx $1250+ from google adsense monthly. I must admit that this subtheme is the best in my opinion.

5. AVG CTR (2%-4.3%) CMI!

This theme is one of the new subtheme that gives me a lot of problem. Firstly once I swapped to this theme, the traffic rised, mainly because this theme looks better than theme no.4. But the CTR rate of this subtheme is roughly about 2-4% after a month of intensive split testing. We have concluded that the problems is with the logo image is too big and it take almost half of the fold. It divert visitors' attention away from the adsense ads, as a result getting low CTR.

6. 5%-9% CTR (Good?)

This subtheme is the most plain, and it looks ugly. It gives roughly around 5~9%. With the ugly looks of the subtheme it scare visitors away, as a result, I got bounce rate as high as 80%. This theme looks bad and getting average of 5~9% CTR is not recommended to use this subtheme in my opinion.

7.  18%-26% CTR (WOW!)

This subtheme is the BEST among the 7 subtheme, this sub theme has proven to get the highest CTR (18~26%) This is mainly due to this subtheme has the displayed the ads quite prominently and also according to the Google Heatmap guidelines. I never expect this subtheme to achieve such a high CTR. But nevertheless after countless of split testing we have concluded that this subtheme is the best subtheme to choose to get the highest CTR in CTRTheme!

Final Verdict

I have read a lot of content and information about CTRTheme + my personal split testing. Above are the results we have derived, however, your CTR is also not depend solely on the subtheme ONLY. You also need to make sure that your niche is a niche that people will click on your ads. 

Niches like freebie, downloads are obviously no one will click on your adsense ads, as those kind of visitors, their intention is to get freebies, if they cannot find the freebies they want they will click on back button to continue searching,

However, please do try out theme no.4 and no.7 as we have tested again and again these are the 2 golden subthemes to get highest CTR on CTRTheme.
